Can you use school specialism as a reason?
My daughter didn't get our first choice school which is a C of E state school. We are in the top ten on the waiting list but haven't heard a thing from our LEA. I am looking into an appeal.
The schools specialism is music, my daughter is very musical and plays three instruments. Would this be a good enough reason to appeal?
Thanks

Welcome to Appeals.
You need to be aware that specialisms are no longer funded, although this might not matter if the school is still noted for its music.

The more reasons you have, the better:

It could be, depending on what standard she's reached. The schools specialism is music, my daughter is very musical and plays three instruments. Would this be a good enough reason to appeal?

I did for my Gs appeal, although it wasn't the only reason.
