'The Most Famous School in the World' documentary

Post by Blitz »

Did anyone see the CBBC is a documentary 'The Most Famous School in the World' -- part of the 'My Life' series? It follows three New Foundation Scholars at Eton at the start of the 2013 academic year.

It was on on 18th and 19th March and can still be caught on the iplayer. I found it fascinating. One of the boys went to Westcliff High School for Boys in Southend. Life at Eton was certainly different to Leigh on Sea!

My dh and dc2 watched it. It seemed fascinating what I saw of it. A family friend used to work at Eton. I always wanted to visit.

As I become a teenage, and interested in boys, she left to work at a smaller school. My dreams of meeting and marrying a wealthy, handsome Prince faded overnight.

Hi Blitz,
I watched it yesterday with kids. It was very inspiring for my DS.
One has to be gifted and lucky to get scholarship in Eton though.
