Appeal basis having passed qualifying score
My DS passed the test for Marling in Gloucestershire. The pass mark was 216, his score was 219. In previous years he would have been in, but this year admission only got to scores of 221. Reallocation didn't reach him. In preparing an appeal do we only have to focus on why it is the best school for him? - given that passing the qualifying mark shows he has reached the required academic level, or do we still have to provide further academic proof, CAT scores etc, that he can work at a GS level?

Thank you. I guess that suggests if you can prove extenuating circumstances, do so to explain the relatively low pass, otherwise focus on how this is the right school.
