Format of Gloucestershire CEM exam
I seem to remember someone saying on here that there would be an announcement 9th July (or thereabouts) about the format of the Gloucestershire exam. Have I dreamt this? Cheers

Me too ! I checked the website today and yesterday. Perhaps we both dreamed it. I just phoned SHS and they said they aren't expecting to add anything further. Weird huh ! and I cannot remember where I read it either
Did you hear back in the end about your request ?

Re: Format of Gloucestershire CEM exam
This just dropped in to my mailbox regarding the test format:
What do the tests involve?
The test consists of multiple choice style questions on verbal ability (comprehension, vocabulary and verbal reasoning), numerical reasoning and non-verbal reasoning. There are two papers each lasting approximately 50 minutes with additional time for instructions and some worked examples. There will be a break between the papers.
The children indicate what they think is the right answer by drawing a pencil-line in the appropriate space on a special answer sheet, not by writing the answer down in the test booklet.

Yes, an email from Pates explaining what was happening on the day, etc..
I suspect all who applied will get the email today.
