Eleven plus exams Numerical reasoning books 1 and 2
DD doesn't have any numerical reasoning tests as such, but was just wondering whether there is any value in doing these books for general maths revision.
Wondering if other parents are only using these books for CEM Numerical reasoning practice.

Yes please... I would like some advice on this too... Don't have either of these books and would need to buy if others can offer some guidance on their suitability to CEM.

Hi Wildwest - I have decided to use these as an ad-hoc resource. Looking through the book, there are certainly some questions that would be useful for extra practice on volume, timetables, money problems
We may not use them as tests - but pick out relevant questions for extra practice

I have been using book 1 on an ad hoc basis to provide timed practise and also as an extra resource of different style questions. We also use CGP and Scofield & Sims among other resources if we need to work on a specific area.
