Ah sorry - should have called this one 2015 then! Are you already underway with some preparation? Have you tried to find out if GL Assessment is being retained for 2015 or not? It is just an option in the contract. The contract guaranteed 2014 only to GL.

Me!! Have DS giving the test in 2015 and DD in 2016. Am already panicking reading what all of you are going through this year!

Have no idea if GL will be retained for 2015nas well! Really lost as far as preparation goes :? :?:

Are you going to e-mail admissions to ask? It was roundabout this time last year that they were doing some decision-making at KCC re. this year's test.

I will have DC1 sitting the test this year and DC2 sitting the test next year too! At this precise moment in time I feel I can't go through it all again (but deep down I know I will, because I have to).

I'm hoping Kent will decide to keep GL for another year (at least). If they are waiting until after this years test to decide how they will mark / weight this years papers, surely they don't want to embark on a completely new format next year (I hope) - will they have time to sort it out?

I think CEM and GL are both capable of whipping up tests fairly quickly.

After stressing to Dd1 the importance of actually reading the question, I've failed to do it myself and assumed it said 2015 not 2016!! Oops...
Would prefer if it remained with GL next year, only as I have the resources already and have gone through them all with dd1.

Hello All,

I am new to the forum. My daughter will be giving the exam in 2015 as well. I am so confused about the format as well. If any one can guide me. I do understand that there is VR, NVR and math. What about english. Does Kent not have english as a seperate paper? Also right now they are following the GL assessment format. Does anyone know if it is good to just concentrate on GL study material or CGP, Bond etc should also be looked at?

Any answers would be helpful :(

Thanks
Jas
