Sept 2015 entrance
Does anyone know where we can find out if 2003/4 was above or below average for birth rates? That way we might have a better idea on whether schools will be over subscribed.

The number of children in Bucks State Schools in Y6 is comparable with previous years.

Is it possible to find out this information for other counties? Who would one ask?Sally-Anne wrote:The number of children in Bucks State Schools in Y6 is comparable with previous years.

In Bucks, the document is called "Pupil Numbers on Roll", and it is derived from a census that takes place at the start of the spring term. It lists the number in each year group for every school.Manana wrote:Is it possible to find out this information for other counties? Who would one ask?
I am sure that all counties produce the same data. It might be published (a simple request to the Admissions Department would produce it, if that is the case) or you might need to make a request under FoI.
