Ilford County Open Day post results

Is there an opportunity to go and see the school again, now that the results are in. The open day was very hectic from what I remember. My ds has a place but we wanted to go and see again before final decision.

Any help would be appreciated? I get the the impression the school are not that 'fussed' about 'selling the school' to prospective parents.

I have phoned the school and they took my details down. I got the impression that if there was enough interest, they would organise a tour.

I left my details yesterday but the teacher in charge of year 7 who was supposed to call me back - a Mr Smith - has not yet called. I got the impression at the open evening back in June that their attitude is 'take it or leave'. They had the least engaging teachers i spoke to compared to a number of other state schools which is really why i was hoping to be able to go back again before submitting CAF.

I agree the school have been the least engaging compared to the other grammer and state schools we have seen. I think beacause of the demand it is a 'take it or leave it' attitude. Would really help to see the school again before we make up our mind.

Woodford are exactly the same. I've sent an email and followed up with a phone call - they are not bothered at all. If my DD gets into Latymer too it will be the attitude of the school which will make our decision as to which to put first.
