SW Herts Consortium results

hi, my DS got 267 for the academic and 30 for music. really like if we get Parmiters. does anyone know the outer catchment area cut off mark for all the SW herts schools??? it would be much appreciated... I'm from Hatfield and what SW herts school will be near to us?

Congratulations to your DS on a great score. Forgive the question but I am confused - you have put your DS through the SW Herts consortium test and you do not know which schools are near to you? Define near. It's all relative and how much travelling you want to do but personally I would not consider Hatfield 'near' to any of the consortium schools. Last year the cut off for Parmiter's outer was 279. There is loads of useful information on the sticky at the top of this forum and the schools' own websites also provide much of the information you need. Best wishes. If these are standardised scores, then actually they are not 'out of' 282, e.g. if your standardised score is 141, you can't say that it is 50 per cent. The underlying raw scores will be 'out of' the total marks available on each paper and therefore could be expressed as a percentage.

to sw result thread you will find that it is mentioned that someone scored this year 282 which is considered the maximum score

Yes. my DD got 282.Also she is Nov born.

Another thing,

DD also scored 277/282 in millhill .but we will not be putting Millhill in our preference list.
If anyone else interested in Millhill.

From DD results for 2013 intake:

Mathematics: 118
Verbal Reasoning: 130
Total score used by schools for admissions purposes: 248.
The Mathematics and Verbal Reasoning Scores both have a maximum of 141.
