Marks in border

Hi, I am completely new to this forum, introduced just yesterday by a friend.
As I am skimming through other posts, I am trying to understand if my DS has any chance in KEHG with a score of 216 (2014 cut off being 215)
She has a better score of 223 in Warwickshire and I am wondering if there is a good chance in Stratford Girls school with the last year's cut off again at 215.
When one mentions the cut off marks, is it the last child on the waiting list who entered with that marks?
Any advice is greatly appreciated

Just passing through from the Warks forum, but would say 223 sounds good for SGGS if you're in the Southern priority area. If not, you'll be put on the waiting list for second round allocations.

Hoping for some sound advice from the forum stalwarts. My DD qualifies for a PP place at FW. Being only 2 marks above the cut off I'm worried that come March she may not actually get a place because they may have too may DC's who met the qualifying score. According to the foundation office children would then go onto a PP waiting list.

This is all new territory but does anyone think that all PP places will be taken up by PP children?

Any thoughts much appreciated.

Nobody can tell but my feeling (which may be wrong as I don't own a crystal ball) is that once 20% of PP children are offered places at FW the score will not go as far as 200.

However, according to the DFE, FW has a measly 5.7% on PP at present, meaning they have to fill quite a lot more places than usual with PP pupils, so anything is possible.
