King's High Warwick entrance exam 2014

Post by SpeedyCar »

Hello. Any idea how many girls take this, please? My DD is at a state primary and is fairly sure of SGGS via 11+ but is totally sold on King's (assuming she passes the exam and gets a hefty bursary!!!). Anyone know the stats (i.e. how many of those who take it are likely to be offered a place)? Thanks.

I suspect a lot more will be offered a place than there are children in year 7. there will be many like you who are likely to be offered a GS place and others who will be taking multiple indie exams.

Ultimately each child can only take one place!

Re bursaries, worth having a good look at any info the school has about these and how they allocate them, often have to do v well in the exam and even then they may not be as generous as you hope. School vary as to how much they have to offer and also some may opt to help a lot of pupils while others will help a few out to a greater degree.

If she has done well in the 11+, then passing the KH exam will be no problem. Well done to her and good luck for the exam.
