Pass Mark King Edward Aston

Post by turnaround »

Hi

I am new to this grammar thing and this forum helped me out a lot. From what i am lead to believe KEA has a 25% allocation for pupil premium. My DS got 225. Whilst this would have been enough for last year to get in will it till be enough next year bearing in mind the 25% PP.

Also what do people think of KEA in general? It is the closest GS to us.

thanks

Hi, I can't help you with the pp as that has just come in this year, but as general the school is excellent. My DS is in year 7, started this year, and he is loving it, he has made friends with nearly all year 7's, he is enjoying his 2hr PE sessions twice a week and believe it or not but he is actually enjoying the work too. I've spoken to his form tutor and she is really nice and friendly. Hope this helps.

Aston already has 20% PP pupils. Adding an extra 5% of pupils is really not going to push the score up by over 10 points (as it was final-score-in215 on March 2014) so I would say your son should be fine to receive a place.
