On one of the previous threads a forumite explained they held a bonfire with the previous 11+ papers. With NOvember the 5th fast approaching you and your child might find this far more satisfying than the clink of some coins.

Actually Quasimodo that was my dd suggestion the minute she came out of the exams!!! but had to hide them from her as I have to find some way of making back some coins ... We spent a fortune to books..my word!!! I was one of those DIY moms that went over board.

The idea sounds appealing but as a lover of books the idea of burning any books even 11+ test papers is an anathema.

Hi, what sort of papers are they? Are they in the style of the final paper, ie with short sections alternating between VR/NVR/maths? Could you let me know what you've got please and prices? Thanks!
