St Olave - Sep 2015 Entrance test - one level or two levels?

Hi,

Is the entrance test for St. Olave going to be one level or two levels? Has anyone spoken with the school admissions office recently or seen the draft admissions policy document? Does anyone have any more information?

It looks like this is likely to affect my ds who is currently in Year 4. Is this draft up for consultation or will it be implemented for the Sept 2016 takers? Will it be a similar structure to the Tiffins tests do you think?

For SET, is the school likely to join Sutton Consortium?

I don't think so Tiffinboys (although I havn,t studied the draft policy in detail). However, it looks as though it is going to follow a similar structure. I think I'll have to start reading the Sutton/Kingston threads to see how it will all work. It may eventually join the consortium - who knows!

The timing of the tests is also a bit of a pain as they are also going with a later 2nd paper (post CAF).

Dofe needs to give clear advice on entrance tests. This is fourth school proposing to have tests after CAF date. Others are Sutton Grammar, Tiffin Girls and Henrietta Barnett. Hope other schools don't catch this trend.

The consultation document doesn't say how many. I would think that they'll allow at least twice the number of places on offer, possibly more.
