What Maths is needed for kent test that isn't taught in prim
I have a son in year 5 and (since the kent test might be brought forward to September 2008) I wondered what he will need to know that won't be taught by the end of year 5?
We currently work using the Bond books - will this be enough????
Thank you ( this is such a good forum, I no longer feel alone!)

any use??
pupils this year have found algebra, shapes (especially area) and scale teh most dofficult. Also not familiar with terms like ration. some struggle a bit with mode, median and mean.
Make sure they read the questions properly to make sure they know what is needed,, some hav ea bit if a twist and if they rush ahead they make silly mistakes.
The Tutors downloads are good, try a demo.
