Sutton exams while staying in another borough

Post by oberoijasleen »

Hello All,

Can someone please help me with the below questions.

One of my friends DD wants to appear for the exam. They do not stay in the Sutton Borough. Is she eligible to give the exam.

I have heard that few boroughs have different days for exams for children staying within and outside the borough. Is that applicable to our borough as well.

Can someone please help me with this. She is looking for Nonsuch and Wallington Girls.

Thanks

Both Nonsuch and Wallington Girls have open places as well. Children from any area could take their entrance tests, which are on the same day for all the candidates.

Which is your borough?

Thanks for the note....

Current borough is Southwark.

Also while I am on this. My DD will be taking the exam this year. We are put up in KT4. Nonsuch is around 1.5 miles away from our place, but Wallington is 4.28 (6.88 km)miles away.

I can see myself out of the circle of catchment of Wallington which is 6.7 kms. Does this mean my daughter is not eligible for Wallington :( . Please help I a so confused.

Thanks

Your DD would be eligible for open selective places (100) in Wally Girls.
KT4 is in the catchment of Tiffin Girls as well.

Apologies....but one last question...

I just heard that KT4 8** is not part of Tiffins catchment. Is this true or somebody misguiding me :( :(
