AGS STUDENTS SEP 2015

Post by MissSparkle »

Congratulations to all who've been offered a place at AGS in September 2015!
I'm grateful that my daughter is among them.

Perhaps we could use this thread to chat with each other? I'm sure there will be lots to think about over the coming months....

Hi MissSparkle, congratulations to your DD. My DDs also have a place at AGS and are excitedly awaiting the first communication from the school. I wonder when we will hear.

Ah congratulations to your DDs too! Yes it's a strange experience getting is this whole year, getting one piece of news and then waiting what seems like ages, for the next. I don't know what to expect! Delighted anyway to e-meet you!

More than one child starting? That's especially exciting!

Do you live far away from the school? We are in Warwick so our next hurdle is to sort transport out. Unfortunately that won't be clearer until at least June when we find out if we have a seat on the bus going from here. In the meantime I am just trying to suss out interest in car sharing etc so at least we have options...

My DS has accepted a place at AGS for Sept 15 entry. He is really excited even though KES was his first choice but this was mainly because he has a friend starting at KES & doesnt know anyone going to AGS. Its been a long journey to get this far but well worth the agony! We just need to suss transport from Lenches which is a new challenge

Hi there great to meet you DenDe and Momma D.
Yes no welcome letter here yet either.
I think a lot of kids travel a good distance to AGS, so we are not alone!
We almost ruled it out on distance ourselves, but went to visit and instead it went straight to the top of the list!

Hi everyone - and congratulations!

Current AGS mum (DS started last Sept). I think from memory we didnt receive anything from the school until around April - it felt like a lifetime!
