Induction day

Post by kerrym »

Even though out of county, hoping my son will be offered a place at Chesham High. Does anyone know when the induction day will be for children hoping to start in September? As my son breaks up from school early, we have booked a holiday in for the 2nd week in July and hope he won't miss it.

Sally-Anne,

Hi Dad40

I'm not absolutely sure about all schools, but I believe the gret majority hold them. You could try the schools' websites to see if their calendars have any references to Induction Days.

I do know that DCGS does a whole activity week for the new kids in the first couple of weeks of the holiday to help them get to know each other. Whether that replaces the Induction Day or is in addition to it I am not sure.
