Extra Long Trousers

Post by Ally »

As a follow on from Doodles looking for suits.

My Ds doesn't need suits for 6th form,

So it's smart casual, with a collar. Chino's are DS trousers of choice, but he's thinner than a bean pole and he's grown since July!! He's going to need XL leg length ( 36in inside leg), but waist 28. But at a push a 30inch waist with a belt. if they're a slim fit

HELP, can anyone suggest anything.

Back to Next again ! They do super slim fit and extra extra long which is a 37" inside leg!

Good luck, I'm still on a jacket hunt :?

Boden do an unfinished, e.g. you sew up the hem yourself -starting length is a whopping 39", 30" waist chino.

I had thought it would be easy once Ds wasn't wearing school uniform, but it's just as difficult. Some of the high street shops do an XL leg, but only for waist 34 or even 36 waist.

Boden's unfinished leg chino's sounds a great idea, but not at full price for school.

It would seem that the high street only caters for the "norm". Not prop-forwards looking for suits or skinny beanpoles looking for trousers

Gant do them, you may have to buy them from eBay though, not the trendiest brand but that's where son number one got his from for a regatta.
