Test venues
Do Warwickshire just use GS for the entrance tests or do they use local comps.
I know we'll find out next week, but was just wandering how it's done.
DS sat both Bham & Warks 3 years ago. Bham was at Camp Hill Boys and Warwickshire was KES.
I'm guessing that this year, due to the combined exam, Warwickshire's numbers will be down on previous years.

Re: Test venues
I've only known Warks to use the grammars as test centres.
Mine sat it at Alcester and at KES. In both cases, children from the same primary school were placed together regardless of address, and seated near to each other, too. So unlike Bham, the boys are girls were not separated into different centres.
Yes, I'd imagine that numbers are definitely down and also wonder if Warks grammars will therefore deal with some 'overspill' of pupils from Solihull/South Bham who are registered through the Bham consortium.
The Bham consortium will still, I understand, be using some additional comprehensive schools as test centres in Solihull.

Re: Test venues
Also both Kineton High School and Shipston High School have been used in very recent years.

Re: Test venues
Henley is our catchment school and AGS our closest GS.
Hopefully the letters went out today and we will know for definite.
It will all seem too real then

Re: Test venues
We have our test venue and I'm a bit puzzled
Coleshill School
It's about a 25 minute drive down the M42, so a bit of a strange one.
However, I did have a major panic. The fit and well sheet includes a box showing priority area. If blank it says you are outside the area, our box is blank!
Spoke to a lady at admissions who confirmed this was wrong and will resend with correct info.

Lol, I went to Coleshill school for a few years.......and grew up near that town. Odd they have allocated there if you are so far away!
