Pass Mark for Kent Test
Can anyone tell me roughly what percentage a student will need to pass the Kent 11+?

It changes every year depending on the cohort and difficulty of test. Last year pass mark was one of lowest ever - 320 out of 420 but that will be a standardised score. Previous years it has typically been 350 or 360, with minimum levels in each paper. So no simple %.

Thanks so much PetswoodFiona. Just wondered roughly what percentage those standardized scores would equate to.

The pass mark was below 50% for maths and more than 60% for English . Reasoning was somewhere in between I think. General consensus was that the maths was too hard and virtually no-one finished. English was too easy and 100% was needed for a maximum score. All this means that it could be very different this time.
I guess it would be safe to say that scores over 60% in practice should be good enough and 70% should give you some degree of confidence.
