Good luck to all OOC children sitting for Kent tomorrow

Post by mumsdarling2 »

All the best to everyone. Can't wait to get it over with, tomorrow. DS is relieved that he'll be done but the journey doesn't end for us parents, does it?

Good luck.

Good luck!

Can I alsoremind people once more not to discuss actual content or timings until we are sure all the candidates have sat the test?

Thank you

Just dropped my daughter off and it was just as horrid as last year but in a different way. This time huge sports hall with rows and rows of desks. Parking was **** and we were waiting outside in the drizzle for half an hour. They really don't like to make it easy for them do they! At least it will all be over in a few hours. Hope it wasn't too traumatic for your son or daughter!

It wasn't too bad. The drizzle was a bit of a pain. We couldn't see the exam hall though. All DCs were kept in a waiting area. Most of them looked a bit lost and nervous. As you said, a few hours and it'll all be over and we'll go for a nice meal afterwards.

Thinking they will have done the bulk of the test by now and the rest of the time will be the essay. DD's main concern was toilets. She is sitting at an all boys school as the test venue. I said I was sure they'd had thought of the girls and turned some for the day into girls toilets or some of the staff toilets would be available to the students. It is amazing what you end up worrying about!

They must be finishing their lunch break now. And yes the essay afterwards. The main bit must be over. I hope DS made good use of the toilet break. He is usually a last minute person.
