Feedback - SET 2015

Post by CoolParent123 »

Dear Parents,

Please post your feedback on your experience with SET 2015.

1. School Organisation
2. Children Experiences at the School and Exam Hall
3. Number of questions each in English and Mathematics
4. Any difficulty in attempting any questions?
Etc. etc.

Your valuable feedback will help aspiring Parents and Children who take the test next Year.

Thanks in advance,

Is there a reserve date for those who are ill and unable to take the SET today?
If so it might be wise to give details about any difficulties or difficult questions after that date has passed.
Ignore me totally if today is the only day though :D

Thanks Loopylou, This is important.
I did not mean them to post the actual questions but the test pattern for each paper.

My daughter has just gone in at Non Such. Very well organised, clear signs for zones, ample parking with staff directing the way. Very impressed.

Waiting in my car at 9am and it amazes me how many children are running with their parents to the venue (supposed to be here for 8.30 for 9.15 test start). Feels very unfair on the child, obviously there may be valid reasons. For those who are sitting the afternoon session, please try to arrive in plenty of time.

Good luck all!

+1

Another test tomorrow which we will skip.

Please no comments of any sort about the test at least until allocation day, in case there are late sittings for late movers in the area.

One observation today at Wilson's -I saw a nervous mom with 3 boys(seems triplets ) and each allocated different entrance gate !
Can't possible imagine how they managed the preparation journey-here totally exhausted with a single DS !

On the plus side-I was visualizing them at home doing mock among themselves :D

:D :D :D
Well, last year there were 3 pair of Twins in Year 7 ....
Not sure if this is a school policy, twin brothers won't be put in the same house .... as they have choice of 6 houses.

Guess, today Organization should be alright as the staff were present at the school by 7:30 AM.

Arrangements at Wallington Boys seemed good. DS said that the 6th formers were very friendly and made him feel at home. The queue for the Gold Zone was very long and the Lilac Zone very short.

Hi,

My DD was allocated Nonsuch. The arrangement was really good. Senior girls did a good job. They really made the girls very comfortable.

Now its just waiting....

Thanks

It's unlikely that they were triplets, as the entrances are allocated based on the boys' surnames.
