St Clem Questions
hi,
we are out of catchment, not by far and have sat the academic test, i know the results come in next monday.
1, im not sure how the results coe, they are obviously a score, but does it say you are eligible for a place, you havent passed, or just a score ?
2, i see that there were i think approx 21 academic places offered in last 2 years, do we know the range of the scores to get in ?
finding it hard to get this info for some reason, i just want to work out my chances of getting a place. DS is bright and i am expecting a GS place in bucks, but we all know things dont always go how we planned !!!
thx in advance

Re: St Clem Questions
1. Just a score
2. You can look at the admission statistics thread at the top of this board for information on the lowest score to be offered an academic place in previous years, but this is the first year group to sit the new VR paper, so the distribution of scores may have changed.

Ok thx so we won't know if we have a place til allocation day ?
Re: St Clem Questions
There is no catchment for the academic places. The academic places are allocated by score, top down from what I understand.thefirs wrote:hi,

unfortunately no-one knows (anywhere) if they have a place until allocation day - you can make a good guess based on old scores and other info available but it is still not confirmedthefirs wrote:Ok thx so we won't know if we have a place til allocation day ?

It's just going to be so difficult to figure scores out and likely places this year because of the change in paper....
