Re: Channing
At one time Channing used to interview all candidates looking for those that slipped through the net, but now interview only those who have done well in the test. So well done to your DD. When my DD had her interview, it was not intimidating and she enjoyed it a lot.
Try practising some mental maths, what subjects she likes and why, what she's reading. Eye contact, smiling and a question to ask are always a good idea.
Good luck, let us know how it goes.

Re: Channing
Last year, DD had a 1-2-1 with a faculty member and a group interview (3 girls) with the headmistress. Agree with fairyelephant's advice. It is also important that DDs do not come across as too rehearsed and that they feel comfortable discussing completely new topics.
Re: Channing
Oh dear. DD not happy. She didn't feel it went well and is quite down now. Does anyone ever get in after not enjoying the interview??
Re: Channing
Our DD1 had her 'worst' interview but was offered a space.
For DD2, we have not heard from Channing. When do you think we can expect to hear from them?

Re: Channing
Just received an email and DD2 has been invited to interview at Channing. So happy it was good news!
Best of luck to all that have yet not heard.
