St Albans Boys call back, extra tests?

Post by Lisahp »

Hi my ds was invited for the second stage at St Albans. He had a great afternoon there on Thursday, doing a English and a science lesson. Some kids were asked to stay back to do English and maths extra questions. Anyone know what that is? I'm wondering if it means that they were borderline or if my ds has missed out on something?
He really loved the school and has made it his first choice.
Thanks for your help.

I think it was that they just wanted a little more information on their levels. Perhaps those called back for Maths did a very strong English paper and a weaker Maths paper and vice versa. I think it is great they gave those boys another chance to show what they can do. DG
