KEGS vs CLSB

My son has got 25% scholarship at City of London Boys and confirmed place (green) for King Edward Grammar Chelmsford.

Please help me with decision if you have any +- of both ?

What would the journeys be like to the two schools, given that they are rather a long way apart? Both are close to public transport, but which would be easiest to access? If the fees you would still have to pay at CLSB aren't an issue and your DS liked both equally, I would go for the easiest to get to. It's very hard to contribute fully to a school's amazing results (or more importantly, do yourself justice) if you are exhausted and have no time for a life outside school.
