Queens from HA2
Hi All,
I wanted to check if there is a possibility of a child getting into Queens from HA2 (Harrow). My son is very much interested in the school due to sports.
From all the threads, seems difficult to get into SW Herts School being out of catchment.
Many Thanks

Thanks Dotty. I wasn't sure if school would answer such questions but will give it a try.

I would think it would be quite a task to get in from that distance unless you were top academically/musically/sportingly...

I know of quite a few children in North Watford that missed out on distance places and they were just over a mile from the school in WD24.

Did you not visit Queens in the end? If you did visit the school what was the answer they gave you?

Re: Queens from HA2
It is really quite straightforward. Queens is a catchment only school. The postcodes are listed in Critieria 3 and HA2 is not one of them. You are not in catchment so you cannot apply for the school. Even if you got 100% in the academic or music test or top marks in the sports text you would not be able to apply for the school. Clement Danes have non catchment places in academic and music so that would be your best bet or QE that is 100% non catchment. DG
