Year 8 Maths Question Help
cuboid is made from 120 small cubes.The prime factor decomposition of 20= 2 to the power of 3 X 3 X 5
One way of combining the factors is 2 to the power of 2 X (2X3) X 5= 4X6X5
The dimensions of the cuboid could be 4 X 6 X 5
List the dimensions of 3 different cuboids that could be made with 120 cubes.
Thanks x

Look at the prime factor decomposition of 120 = 2 x 2 x 2 x 3 x 5DylanHodder wrote:cuboid is made from 120 small cubes.The prime factor decomposition of 20= 2 to the power of 3 X 3 X 5

They've given you one way (2 x 2) x (2 x 3) x 5
Look at other ways of combining the prime factors ... you can pm me if you want me to check your answers.
