Moving School Possibly boarding

Post by tehmonkey »

Does anyone know of any boarding school which accept year 10 entry and possibly give some scholarships for year 10 entry or would it'd be best to ask around =/ Also if scholarships are available do you know of any schools which give scholarships for humanities.

At the moment it looks like we'll have to wait for sixth form, because i dont' we'd be able to afford to pay fees for four years.

Thanks in advance.

Suggest you take a look at the State Boarding School Association Web Site.

If your child has passed an 11+ plus grammar exam somewhere in the country then they may be eligible for a place at one of these schools. In this sitaution the only fees you would have to pay is for boarding/accommodation. See

We may look into that, but they are often quite small, boarding wise
Also my child never took and 11plus exam which would cause a problem, im guessing.
