Can anyone recommend a tutor?

Post by Harriet »

I was wondering if anyone can recommend a tutor they have used to get their child prepared for Berkshire grammar schools tests.
I would like someone who comes to my house if possible.
I would really appreciate some recommendations.

I stand to be corrected. But I understand that recommendations are not allowed here, as they are advertising.

Try asking at your school, parents of the current yr 6 will have the best possible recommendations.

hope this helps

While 'advertising' is not on allowed on the forum it is perfectly OK for someone to send a 'private message' if they have a recommendation. :)

Yep, well said Chad.

Although, would I be happy with accepting an online recommendation
for someone I dont know,to be with my children?

Thanks for the replies. I live in Uxbridge and not many parents are putting their children in for the 11+. The ones that are going to are doing the work themselves with their children. Unfortunately I am unable to do this as I have 2 younger children.
