What is covered?

Post by bec »

Am I right in thinking, that if the school sets nfer verbal reasoning papers, only the first 21 types are covered? (we've been working through the Susan Daughtrey series which has 35 types)

Thanks in advance

It depends which area you are in.

Where are you based?

Dear Bec

The first 21 types of Susan Daughtrey [books 1-4 method and techniques] do not equate to the 21 types used for NFER VR in Multiple Choice form.

Do you know whether the test is Standard form or Multiple Choice?

hi patrricia

I appreciate your response, the answers will be in multiple choice format.

Dear Bec

Then it may be a good idea to ditch the 35 types from S.Daughtrey now. They are in standard form [different techniques for m/c] and of course cover far too many types. Take a look at the following thread.
