To make you smile, the things they say!

Post by proud mum x2 »

On holiday in Cyprus, two weeks ago, we were on a catamaran day trip and my DH said " "wow! look at that Red Kite up there!" to which my knowledgable and easily insulted DD replied " it's NOT a red kite it's a bird!" (she is used to telling us what we have difficulty in seeing due to failing eyesight!)

We were all choking with laughter, she thundered, looking indignant, "what are you laughing at? tell me!"

We did, eventually, but it has now become a mistake we will cherish. On a serious note, sometimes it is so easy to assume that our DC always know things such as this, which makes it all the more hilarious when we find that, in fact they don't!
