Well, That's Us Done Now!!

Post by Snowdrops »

As the title says, that's us done now - both sets of exams now complete. all we have to do is wait for the results, then keep our fingers crossed we get allocated one of the few precious places at Ripon Grammar (we are out of catchment).

DD feels confident, both days were easy she says (let's hope so, eh!!).

I'm going to miss working with her - might have to start a little maths club or something to keep myself entertained

Good luck to the rest of you in the coming weeks and months.

It's all worth it in the end.

ooooo had to think what KFC was (thinking, how do you know I liked that one and NOT McD's!!) then I realised!!!!

Keep Fingers Crossed

Yup, one month to wait for results - only guess who's arranged to go away the day the results are out (and for the rest of that week, when the CAF needs returning!!).

Lucky I've got someone to open the post and do it on our behalf 8)

Cheers Hermy!!

Did you do the 12+ bouga or is it DC2?

If DC2, how did they find the exams?

Hi Snowdrops, it's DD2 (DC3) - we're in Skipton. DD found practice test short for time asthere was a section on the VR she had not seen before. She found the two actual tests and I quote "alright" - whatever that means! But she does not seem worried so I have that to be thankful for. I teach at an independent school and DD1 passed their 11+, despite failing the North Yorks one, and seems to be settling in well there.
What about your DC, - how did they find it?

Is this more of a "rehab" thread?

Careful Perplexed, it takes much less than this to get ostracized!

Don't really mind as I don't know any one on this forum personally (not so far as I know). And I can always be reincarnated as P.E.R.P.L.E.X.E.D. and try a charm offensive!!
