Sutton Grammar

Post by tomtom »

Hi,

Does anyone know about whether the Sutton English exam (the comjprehension/grammar bit) is multiple choice or written answers?

I'm particularly interested because it affects whether I get my son to practise mostly written comprehension answers or multiple choices for the next few weeks.

My son tells me it was multiple choice - he took it last year. Can someone second me on this. (sorry not to be more definite)

Oh, Melinda, you are right: last year Reading Comprehension and Grammar exams for Sutton Boy were definetely Mutilple Choices , so you don't need to "write answers" , however, as we discussed before, all the boys needs to write another essay to demonstrate how good your writing ability is! BTW, I remembered that my son told me that the topic for Reading Comprehension is about the film NARNIA. Tomtom: does it help?
