Parent experiences and music clubs at Upton Court Grammar?
We are trying to sort out our CAF form.
DD liked the open evening at Upton Court very much although it was very much a "bells and whistles demo" type day. We have also visited an in-school tour day which seemed positive.
I don't know any parents at Upton to ask their experience of the school. Can anyone help me with experience of Upton Court, especially regarding the opportunities for extracurrricular music there? We've looked on the website but that': not a substitute for hearing experiences from real parents.

Hi Aethel - Did you get any feedback on Upton Court Grammar from anyone else?

Nope! I presume there aren't any current parents posting on here.

I gather from a cousin who lives in the area that the school changed its name recently from Slough Grammar so if not finding much under one name, try the other. My cousin who can't be renowned for knowing much about his local schools only had the following to say 'it changed its name as it wasn't very popular'. However looking at the progress 8 report on how pupils do between 11 and 16 it is in the top 5% of schools. So I can't explain the discrepancy and am not from the area but go on your research and feel and for your DC.
