Wimbledon High test
Does anyone know anything about the Wimbledon High test (or if there are any samples to be had anywhere - I've looked but not found anything)?
We really liked the school (and the head) when we visited, but note that (unusually for an Indie) half of the test is NVR. DD did really well in her GS tests, but those with a significant NVR component depressed her mark (though she still achieved all the pass levels). Despite efforts during our 11+ GS prep, NVR just isn't her thing and I don't want to spend a huge amount of time on it, if that's at the cost of standard English/VR, Maths preparation for the January tests at other schools. (Other schools such as LEH do have NVR but it's 1 paper out of 4, not 1 paper out of 2, which is bearable, while NLCS, CLGS etc don't have any at all).
So, any views on the test welcome (do girls get in whose NVR isn't so good, but their VR is excellent (our position)). Is the NVR similar standard/type do what one might get for grammar school CEM or GLA style?
(And any general views on the school also welcome).
