SUMMARY

A series of practice exercises and professionally produced fun playing cards, which should produce rapid familiarity of the multiplication tables. This reviewer found it slightly overpriced.

REVIEW

11 Plus Multiplication Tables is written for children who are sitting SATS Key Stage 2: levels 3-5, Key Stage 3: levels 3-6, 11 Plus, Common Entrance and scholarship examinations.

AE Tuition, who devised this system of learning times tables, has proved its effectiveness with over 2,000 students. The combination of written answers to tables exercises in a random format and the use of ‘ flash ’ cards is a powerful aid to memorising times tables.

Progress charts and a Certificate of Achievement are provided at the back the workbook which is supplied complete with a set of 48 ‘ flash ’ cards.
