Berkshire 11 Plus

There are six grammar schools remaining in Berkshire, and one “bilateral” school, Reading Girls’ School. Two of the grammar schools are in Reading (Reading Grammar and Kendrick School) and the remaining four are in Slough.

Three of the schools in Slough – Langley, Herschel and St. Bernard’s Catholic Grammar School – operate a consortium for Admissions.

Considerable care must be taken to ensure that all the required forms are submitted in time to meet the various deadlines. In researching this page a number of different dates were found for submitting not only the schools’ own application forms, but also the Common Application Form.
