Herts & Harrow Tuition is an established and successful tutoring establishment. We offer a warm

Our aim is to build children’s confidence and help them achieve high standards of work in an
engaging and challenging environment.

11 Plus Tuition

We provide courses to fully prepare children for the Eleven Plus and Independent School
Examinations. We have successfully prepared hundreds of children to enter schools of their choice.

The lessons are carefully constructed to fully meet the requirements for the exams. We cover
Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning, Maths, Mental Arithmetic, Creative Writing, Grammar and
Comprehension. The small class sizes mean the students’ progress is closely monitored and an open
dialogue between teacher, parent and pupil gives each student the best chance for achieving their
potential.

Mock Exams

In addition to tuition classes, we offer exam-standard mock exams which give the students the
required practice which enables them to feel comfortable in an examination environment. These
mock exams take place from September to December.

Assessments

We offer assessments to accurately assess your child’s current ability and future potential. The
assessments are held in relaxed conditions so children feel comfortable and not under pressure.

Online Platform

We have an impressive Online Platform facility containing thousands of questions to complement
the work covered in lessons.

Venues

We have 5 venues: Chorleywood, Hatch End, Rickmansworth, Stanmore and Watford.

Lessons take place in:

Chorleywood on Saturday mornings from 9.00am to 12.00pm

Hatch End on Saturdays from 9.00am to 4.30pm

Rickmansworth on Saturdays from 2.00pm to 5.00pm

Watford Thursdays from 4.30pm to 7.30pm

Stanmore Mondays from 4.30pm to 7.30pm
