What are your delivery charges?

Our delivery charges depend on the order value: -.  

• Order value under £75 - £3.99  for 2-5 days delivery and  £5.99 for 1-2 days delivery by courier. 
• Order value over  £75 -  FREE 
• Deliveries to Scottish Highlands and Islands, Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Guernsey and Jersey are charged at  £7.75 irrespective of order value.

Please note that any E-papers and software downloads are not included in the order value to calculate postage, as these items are not posted.

What are your delivery timescales?

Most orders will be despatched as below unless an item becomes out of stock or you order an item that is not available to ship within 1 day.  The vast majority of items are held in stock. However, there are a very small number of titles that are only available for despatch up to 5 days.  This information is given underneath the ISBN or the Price. If your order includes items that cannot be despatched within 1 day please note that this will delay the despatch of your order as all items are sent in one package.   

Orders placed before 2pm on Monday to Friday (except for public holidays) will be despatched on the same day.

Orders placed after 2pm are despatched on the next business day. Late orders placed Friday, Saturday or Sunday will  be despatched on Monday.

You may select one of the following delivery methods at the checkout: - 

2-5 day Delivery:   We endeavour to process and despatch all orders on the same day by Recorded Delivery or by 2nd class Courier depending on the weight of the item. In most cases, the delivery will arrive the next day or 2nd day after delivery, however please allow up  to 5 days for delivery using this service.  

1-2 day Delivery :  This is a courier service which will generally be next day service on  Monday to Friday. However, please note that we cannot guarantee  the delivery time scale as we use external courier companies. For this service we can only guarantee that we will despatch the order on the same day (provided it is received before 2pm)  using this premium courier service and we cannot be held responsible if your delivery is delayed by the courier company. In 99% of cases, however, your order will arrive the next business day.   

Do you deliver outside the UK?

In addition to deliveries to mainland UK (England, Wales and Scotland) we also deliver to Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Guernsey and Jersey.  

International customers can still purchase E-papers and software which are downloadable.

My order hasn't arrived yet?

There may be a number of reasons why your order has not arrived when expected. Before calling us to enquire we would ask that you first check the following:

1. Please check that your order was despatched. You will have received an email notification of this. The email will confirm whether your order was despatched by Recorded Delivery or Parcel Force.
2. Check that you entered your delivery address details correctly.
3. All our deliveries have to be signed for and therefore if you are not available at the expected delivery date a card is usually left. Please check to see if your mail contains a card left by Parcel Force or Royal Mail.
4. If you are not available, someone else may have signed for your delivery. Please check to ascertain if a neighbour or work colleague signed for it.
5. If your order was shipped by Parcel Force you can track your order online by inputting your parcel number (this will be in the email notification you received)
6. If your order was shipped by Royal Mail please check with your local post delivery office to see if they are holding your parcel. After attempting delivery and leaving a card, they will only hold it for a few days after which they will return it to us. If the package is returned to us as a result of your failure to collect it from the post delivery office, then please note that you will be charged postage again in order for us to re-send your order to you.
