Re: 2 modern language GCSEs - any experience?

hello My daughter is in same position - year 9 and considering doing French and German since year 7. She has noticed that hardly anyone is taking both as it's considered difficult. Instead they are doing art, music, geog or history. So there are definitely rumors that 2 MFL are considered harder. Do...

Re: GCSE latin or french

I dont want her to take latin but then find out the it's much harder and gets a different ...

Re: GCSE latin or french

thanks!
I need to do a bit more research for her I think. I'll advise her to talk to someone a few years ahead. She'll be doing German as a MFL also.

GCSE latin or french

Hello folks My daughter is considering studying gcse Latin instead of gcse French but isn't sure which one to go for. I'm conscious she attends a state school and only started learning latin in year 9. I've been told that latin is taught from a young age at independent school so it will be difficult...

debating club

Hello folks,

My daughter wants to join a debating club. She attends CCHS, but I believe their club is for older years only.

Does anyone know of a debating club/association either online or locally to chelmsford?

Thanks

Re: student insurance

thank you all, looks like Endsleigh don't offer contents insurance at the moment. Funny enough, i used them at university 30 years ago!
does anyone know how to find out if his university provides cover on premises or in halls? I'm not sure how to find the contract or university letting agreement.
