All DD's lectures will be online till after Christmas so she and her friend have decided to move to their London accomodation in January. She has joined societies and WhatsApp groups and they've had zoom meetings so she's made friends and most are moving in in January so she feels it's a good decisi...

There are huge differences in grading in different schools. In a local private school, they actually told all the students to let them know what grades they need to go to their University of choice and they were awarded exactly those. Comforting to know that DD isn't the only one. Her first choice University has assured her a place once the appeal is heard. Fingers crossed

Update - contacted the school and happy to know they had awarded her what she deserves and they feel there has been a mistake by Ofqual in many cases and will be appealing so we are now hopeful

Thank you all. DD is willing to take the re sit Physics in October and if her mocks in Maths are accepted then she won't have to take that exam, if not then she is okay with taking that as well. We will soon know whether the school has discriminated against DD as they always underestimate her. Good ...
