This is useful, thank you. So I assume using CEM style books (CGP an others) should be safe specially for English and VR. I am not familiar with GL VR at all. Found the answer to my questions! https://www.elevenplusexams.co.uk/schools/regions/berkshire-11-plus/reading ... |

... Reading school test and suitable prep materials please. My son is starting year 5 and I would like to do some work with him at home. I got some CGP weekly tests for maths and English ages 10-11, will it be enough or should I aim for more? My daughter sat Kendrick test 7 years ago, at that time ... |

... would you give all your books away if you are still planning to use them for your second DC? Anyway, low budget options: it costs £6.50 for a new CGP CEM practice book on Amazon. Can you manage one of those per month? Another option is to seek out free practice papers like this: edited by moderator ... |

I’d look at the various practice papers available for CEM. I’m not a CEM expert as my DD did the kendrick test before the change.
CGP and FPTP seem to be the ones of choice though. |

Hi ,
CGP books are very good. My DD didn't use the ones you have asked but some other books from CGP. At this point focus should be given more on working through their mistakes and getting the fundamentals right.Probably from May you can start looking at score. |
