Re: A levels 2018-2020. long wait 2

In her Mocks she got A* in Maths and A in Further Maths. They have given her A in Maths and B in F. maths?? EPQ is A as expected but now she hasn't fulfilled the university condition. Teacher predicted A in physics but that's a B?? We have sent an email for appeals process

Preparing for STEP exam

Hello everyone DD is planning on taking the Step exam and has started preparing for it by herself. She feels doing a few past papers would be enough preparation. While it's nice to see her wanting to do it and prepare herself for it, I wonder if that's enough. Are there any other resources that she ...

Re: Is it too late to drop a subject and do it as an AS leve

Not hoping for much from her underfunded, cold, super-selective school that only cares about grades and makes a child feel bad if they seem to slip a bit. DD will now go ahead with her 3 options and EPQ instead of the 4 and feeling better already..

After a lot of convincing DD has now decided to drop Economics and carry on with the the Maths, F.Maths and Physics at A level. She starts with her year 13 in September so my question is that is it too l...

Re: Year 12 result not as expected

Thank you for the replies. It's true that DD has high expectations of herself and is very hard on herself. We, as parents never put pressure on her and are now tired of her mood swings and tearful flare ups. She wishes to do Economics and has her sights on the London Universities. Her Economics teac...
