I have heard some kids with rank 135 got in too.
I don't think that is correct, as above, from the school, the last rank is 98.

Yes, do read the information that mad? linked. You do not need to mention academic proof as he already passed the exam.
Attempting to move is not a reason for appeal, but read the section on over subscription & then come back with further questions if you have them.

Thanks for the messages. Much appreciated. We have got the rental sorted and subsequently informed the Kent council about our move. Now, we haven't added any comprehensive school in Tunbridge Wells as backup. Can anyone please suggest a good comprehensive in and around this area? What did Kent say ...

As hermanmunster mentioned on the Essex thread, the main thing to prove is the academic evidence, which you seem to have covered. Then you have to prove that the detriment to the school if they admit an extra pupil is less than the detriment to your daughter if she is not admitted. I'm not sure that...
