how can I help my son speed up on comprehensions?

He's writing some good answers but only doing about half the questions in the given time! I think he struggles most when it's a very long passage as he doesn't seem to be able to scan through quickly once he's read the questions to get the answers. Any tips?

Hi Dear.

Well it is not difficult. Its only require the perfect guidance and some preparation like reading newspaper every day and better concentrate on grammar and vocabulary.
