And before I get told off for " not focusing my mind " ( Yoyo. anyone ?! ) Where is BromleyMum to explain to us where it was she had noticed this poor sentence structure ?

She has gone off to tutor her English as a second language class which she delivers to us native Brits who can't speak proper or write right.

Published books do you mean ? ( as opposed to the stapled paper books girls like to fashion ) because now I think my DS may have had a book which started sentences with and. I can't remember what it was called though.

Yes scarlett, published books. I've noticed thos when I read to DDs and once my DD2 came to me and complained about it!!
