Yoyo - that's a really good point. I hadn't realised Websters was US. The Oxford dictionary looks good. Thanks for the tip.

The ACE dictionary by D Moseley looks interesting on Amazon. But what are the numbers meant to represent on the sample pages?
Anyhow, they're disappearing fast. Last time I looked (at dawn), Amazon had 3 left. Now there's only 1! Grab it Mystery!

If we didn't actually use Websters for spelling but simply for eytomology, do you think it might still be useful? Anyway, I'll let you know because I ordered mine yesterday!
