Dragon Rider (Cornelia Funke) for Yr 4 child

Post by SleepyHead »

I am reading this book with my daughter, i'll read a page, then it's her turn, and so on.

Do you think it's too difficult/easy for a year 4 child? Just wondering...

Thank you

Not an author I am familiar with, but if you are both enjoying the experience (and assuming that this is not some bestial version of "Fifty Shades..." ), does it really matter? If it is too difficult - and I would think not if she hasn't indicated this so far - you can always help her out with things she doesn't "get". As for "too easy", DS2 is 10 and we still quote bits of our beloved "The Lamb Who Came for Dinner" to each other, a book which we first read together when he was 5.
